The kite is 4' wide by somewhere near 100'.
You are looking at a round top Edo with long tapering sets of battened and bowed tails.
Three vertical spines and 11 bowed cross spars.
A seven stick radial array to form the arch.
The bridle is a five set cascade. Each set held in place by my unique system of zip ties. The main problem with cascade bridles is the wear on the catenary loops. No matter what system you use the bridle will wear out. Rather than burning through the bridle the zip ties burn out first making for an easy instant repair.
It all rolls up into a four foot bag with a diameter of eight inches. I fly this kite on either 80lb or 130lb line.
For such a large kite it hardly pulls. It just floats on top and follows wind changes fantastically.
Easy to launch and easy to bring in.
Stick it up high and enjoy it all day. Just make sure to watch the color changes through out the day and be mesmerized by a living beastie.
Made to order.
$800.
